In no way bashing wheelreplicas or the seller I bought them from on Ebay. Just letting everyone know what happened to me and my 18x10 bullit rims.

Okay I purchased some 18x10 bullit rims off of ebay in January. Had tires mounted. Two days later came out and one of my tires was almost flat. So I put air in it and took it to the shop where I had them mounted. Told them to try and find the leak. To no avail they couldn't find anything. So I took it to a different shop. Same thing... nothing.

Well I have been working alot of OT and hadn't really had much time to worry about it so I would just put air into every other day and kept a good eye on it.

This weekend I went home for Easter and asked my Dad if he could help me find the leak. So we get the soap and water out and start slapping it on the tire..... all over sidewall and everything. Again nothing.

Getting ticked now. Look up and see a tub full of rainwater and say what the heck. So we go start submerging it in the water and guess what. My rim has a pinhole in it. Yep..... in the back, right where one of the spokes meets rim. So I get the camera out and start snapping photos. Got one pretty good pic but its to large and I need someone to make it smaller for me before I can post it. Anybody?

Saturday I contacted person I purchased from and let them know. I haven't heard back from them yet, so in a little bit I am going to give them a ring. Rims were brand new and should be under warranty. I will keep everybody posted if anyones is interested.

You can download Lview from http://www.lview.com/index1024.htm , is an evaluation version for 21 days, with it you can risize the picture to any resolution you want.

Or, you can take the picture again but this time change the settings in you digi camera to 640x480 or 800x600 resolution.

Just go into Microsoft Paint (everybody has it) and resize the image (Image->Stretch/Skew, or press CTRL+W).

Don't worry about dealing with those guys, they have top notch customer service, they just might be busy.

Uh thanks guys but I can't download stuff on this computer cuz its kinda the governments property...lol. Also I don't think Microsoft paint actually resizes the file size!

Well I contacted the seller and they said they will replace it for free. Also said for a temporary fix to hit it with a hammer. Dad said the same thing but I didn't want to start beating on the rim without checking with the seller first. I didn't want to take the chance of voiding the warranty.
Can anybody resize this pic?

Resizing the pic will cut down on it's file size. I do it all the time when I post pics that I take with my camera at top quality.

Wheelreplicas and the wheelindex on ebay are the same guy.

Let all the air out and put a dab of JB Weld on there and let it set over night. I've had to do this before and it'll work great until you get the new rim.

Thanks for the info on resizing the pic..... learn something new everyday I guess. Yeah I thought about putting JB weld on it but I had a date and I didn't have time to let it sit. Got home at 3 in the morning so I didn't want to do it again. When I can find someone with a jack I will pull it off and hit it with a hammer.... I just want to hit it anyway. Maybe that will work... if not then the JB weld goes on.

I always wondered if they were the same guy... still didn't want to come on here naming names. Whoever I talked to on the phone was nice but I still haven't heard back from him. He was supposed to call back. We'll see.....
