Bullitt Doesn't Want To Start/run Occasionally....need Help

I have 01 bullitt...couple times lately doesn't want to start, just cranks. Left to sit for some time it starts without problem. Husband said last time to peddle gas, it started but died. After awhile it started no problem again. He checked fuel pump...thinking crank shaft sensor or throttle body sensor....any ideas??

He or you gonna have to be more specific. Compression testing, fuel pressure, tell us the mods, throttle-body sensor is the throttle position ing sensor. These cars can run and start without that sensor. Fuel and fire. Is what you need to focus on. These cars can start without an adequate air system but will run poorly. Again. What are the mods, if he has a cold air intake, with open filter, hi moisture and humidity can cause a non start issue.

Does he smell fuel out of the tail pipe and or backfire, I would suspect. Mass Air Flow sensor.

Is the Theft light blinking on the dash when this happens?
