Does anyone that has an S197 Bullitt know if your hood liner is different than a regular GT Mustang? I have added the Ford Racing CAI from the Bullitt Mustang and I read somewhere that the Bullitt Mustang has a different hood liner to ensure a proper seal on that CAI. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance...

I know I have seen one meant for the Bullit, I can't seem to find it now. I'll look around a little.

I think the '07's and earlier had a different hood liner, but the '08's and up all have the Bullitt style liner.

7R3Z-16738-H, same part number for Bullitt, GT, and v6. so no, its not a special part. the different part numbers for the 05-07 update to this number.

7R3Z-16738-F is for the GT500.

Just wondering because anything you read about an Bullitt says that Ford redesigned the hood liner to accomodate the new CAI that the Bullitt comes with. Something along the lines of it was redesigned to be able to seal the CAI. Has anyone else heard this?

I think the hood liners were changed mid-year in 2007. My 2007 was built in December and has the newer liner which will work with a strut brace and engine cover.
