bump steer kit?

my car it pretty low, about 1in wheel gap in front, and i have no cc plates or bump steer kit, i have about 8k on my front tires and they are almost done, so i will be buying the MM cc plates soon, but is a bump steer kit needed?

depends on if you want to fix the bump steer on your car.. i would do it, i dont have one on my car but i bet it would help a ton in the ruts

it is not completely necessary but i would get one while you are doing the rest of the suspension stuff.

FWIW i dont have one on my car but i would put it on if it were given to me

one more question, when i get the cc plates, can i take it to any alignment shop, and will they be able to get it right? or will i have to take it to a performance shop that deals with lowered cars, cc plates, ect...

I took mine to a firestone yesterday and just installed mm cc plates on my own. they lined it right up no problem. just go around to some different shops and see who has the newest technology. Mine cost me 69.99. Not a bad deal.

make sure the alignment shop has some employees that know what they are doing!!

bumpsteer kit will need an alignment too.. so you might as well get one if you want one before you put the CC plates on...

when i put on my k member and CC plates my alignment was 180 something bucks

i was amazed at the difference the bumpsteer kit made on my car - i should have done it years ago. highly recommended if your car is lowered and with larger tires.

it was for the one time alignment.. they aligned the new k member (UPR mind you ) and the BBK CC plates .. they also re torqued all my bolts and installed my MM strut tower brace.. but yeah it was something like 180 bucks..
