Bumper Question

Is it possible to use a 71-72 chrome front bumper on a '73? It seems like a simple swap but I could have sworn I read somewhere that it wasn't possible. Could anyone please confirm? Thanks

I believe there is something about the fender extensions that is the issue. oboebrian would know.

If they are listed with different part numbers it is safe to assume that they are............different.

i have also heard that they wont work.

I am almost positive that the 73 fenders were different in the bumper area, making this swap difficult.
