Bumping the timing on my friends 97 GT, need help!!

He is right man. The 4.6 cannot be adjusted without an aftermarket timing adjuster. Check my sig, I have the steeda (which is off because I bought the wrong U/D pulleys ) I was really impressed with the steeda adjuster and if I had to choose again, I would still choose the same. ...............Well, I hope that helps............Keep us updated on the stang

OK but you were calling BS when we told you that there is no way to adjust the timing without the timing adjuster. I guess I can see why you are a little leary since some 'people' are giving you a hard time. But as I stated before you need an adjuster. Steeda has one for about 130 and MAC is coming out with one. BBK and UPR also makes them.

Oops...

And you can get a custom chip like a Diablo to do it too but that is expensive.
