Thanks,

Maybe this will help. I hope. Its pretty easy. You need to measure how far out the factory rod is, remove it, and make the new one match that distance. Make sure the jam nut is tight though. Check it after a few hundred miles to make sure it did not come loose.

once the old outer tie rod ends r off there should be a threaded collar that threads onto the inner tie rod. thread that on to about the same spot where the outer was. then there should be a rod end that threads into the previously installed collar. then there should be the long bolt looking shaft that goes through the rod end from the bottom into the spindle. the spacers get arranged on that shaft. depending on how much bump steer your car has will depend on how many spacers u use. also, if that shaft isn't tapered then u better get a 5/8 drill bit and start drilling out the spindle. with the steeda kit the shaft is tapered so i didn't have to drill the spindle but the funny thing is that when i had it all 2gether with all the spacers used i stil had bumpsteer so i ordered a kit that maximum motorsports sells that has longer shafts and more spacers but with that kit i had to drill out the spindle but once i did that and had it aligned there was no more bumpsteer and the car rode a hell of a lot better.l

Well me and my dad took the old rods off and left the old nuts on so we can see where it goes back on. I have everythign put back together under the car so i'm just putting these on. I'm gonna take it to get aligned after its all back together but how will i know if they set it? I'm gonna ask if they have the thing to do it but how will i know for sure. I have a lot of new stuff under my car so it will feel totally different all around.

Loudtoy what kit do you have it looks like the UPR I have but you have the big end on the spindle side and mine won't fit that way

just space them out so the tie rods are parallel with the control arm WITH the car at ride height that will put you as close as you can get without getting the car bumpsteered at a shop.

I just put the same kit on my car. With the kit complete threaded on to the rack, both wheels were still toed out. I called UPR and they told me to cut more threads into the rack with a dye. I did this and still had to cut the jamb nut in half in order to make it work.crapola

yeah, it looks like the stud needs to go up more, it shouldn't be sticking that far out the bottom
