Ok So I got some new strut rod bushings in my suspension kit. They look different than the ones I have taken off. The new ones have a metal disk that looks to slip around the large side of one of the bushings. But where does it go in the order of things, and does it matter? I have one side done and the metal spacer thing is at the rear closer to the firewall in this order from rear to front: nut-washer-bushing-metal spacer thing-frame mount-bushing-washer-nut. IS this correct or should it be: nut-washer-bushing-frame mount-metal spacer thing-bushing-washer-nut. Any help would be great. Do I really need to install it?
Oh Also I have the small raised area sitting in the opening of the frame as to kinda center the rod and bushings. I just think it is going to make some noise no matter what metal on metal rubbing.
