Ok So I got some new strut rod bushings in my suspension kit. They look different than the ones I have taken off. The new ones have a metal disk that looks to slip around the large side of one of the bushings. But where does it go in the order of things, and does it matter? I have one side done and the metal spacer thing is at the rear closer to the firewall in this order from rear to front: nut-washer-bushing-metal spacer thing-frame mount-bushing-washer-nut. IS this correct or should it be: nut-washer-bushing-frame mount-metal spacer thing-bushing-washer-nut. Any help would be great. Do I really need to install it?

Oh Also I have the small raised area sitting in the opening of the frame as to kinda center the rod and bushings. I just think it is going to make some noise no matter what metal on metal rubbing.

I have a picture of what I got and the pieces I am cofused about.

I believe those both go on the upper end of the assembly. Because of the movement of the stabalizer bar there is more wear on the bushings there than at the lower arm. So I believe they would go one under the stabalizer and one on top of the stabalizer and the bushings would fit into them. Just for the sake of assembly lets call them a spacer. So from bottom up you would assemble as follows. Bolt (head down) washer; bushing; control arm; bushing; washer; sleeve; washer; bushing; SPACER (small flange facing up) ; stabalizer; SPACER (small flange facing down); bushing; washer; nut. Hope this helps

I'm going to have to apologize. I looked at your picture without reading your whole thread and thought I was looking at a stabalizer kit. Sorry. But i think it is still the similar and if I were installing it I would put those on either side of the bracket. So I think your first statement would be correct.
