Im thinkin of buyin some 16x8, chrome, 4-lug cobra R rims for my stang from performance wheel outlet. What are these wheels made of? also, has anyone dealt with performance wheel outlet before? I dont want to get ripped off.
I think that they are in cali if i remember. if its who im thinking of (cant find the ad right now to remind me who they are), i wasnt real happy with them. Customer service was nice, but getting the actul product wasnt.
i called to place my order and the lady said that they would be there in 7-10 buisness days. after 2 weeks, i called to see if they got shipped out...not yet. so i wait about a week more.... they say that they have to "make them to order and dont mass produce them and leave them sit around for a long time." Ok, cool, fresh rims. a week later, still didnt go out.... horses had to be hand painted (got ponys). so this is the 5th week after the order and the FINALLY went out. almost 6 weeks to arrive.
dont get me wrong they helped me out and refunded some of my shipping, but i didnt want to wait that long. The lady that helped me on the phone (through all 5-6 weeks) was unbeleiveably nice, not her fault.
