Buying a Supercharger

trust me on experience on this one. you will most likely need to upgrade the cooling system on your car after you put the sc on. after i put my vortech sc-trim on i was runnin at 230 degreed constantly, sometimes even hotter, i stil have my stock injectors in my car with the sc. also, with the pulleys you have. the sc crank pulley has to bolt inside the crank pulley on your car and i had to find a stock crank pulley cause the underdrive was too small and the vortech pulley wouldnt fit inside it. im sure im missing some of the stuff that i had to end up gettin. but this is a start for ya.

First and foremost, don't listen to a thing 88mustng tells you. j/k. I just think your radiator was clogged up causing it to run hot cause mine only ran 2 degree's hotter if that when I installed mine, all on a stock cooling system.


91fiveo- First thing, I would fine a good tuner near you who will be able to tune your combo for power and reliability. Ask them what they recommend as far as injectors, mass air, pump, chip, yadda yadda... (You should buy what the tuner recommends being he is the guy tuning it and buying the parts he has more experience with.)

Personally, I would upgrade to a Pro-M 80mm Mass air meter, 42# injectors (36# is too small for your combo), and a Walbro 255lph "high pressure" in-tank fuel pump and possibly an inline fuel pump as well (I'm making 405rwhp with no inline fuel pump. I would think around 450rwhp your going to need an inline pump, 500rwhp a new block ) I would guess your combo to put out at least 400rwhp with stock supercharger pulley's. Your throttle body is perfect for your combo. As 88mustng said, you might have a problem with your underdrive pulley setup.
