Buying On Facebook ?

I have never bought anything on FB before. Are there any kind of safeguards ?
Or just a roll of the dice ?

take screenshots of everythhing and only use paypal.
NEVER send money as a gift
I've bought off FB several time- only had one bad encounter when some ass tried to sellme a set of 15 year oTFS heads that were FUBAR . Misrepresented them as new, Paypal refunded me the money after I sent them copies of the emails and screenshots.

What is Bookface....errr, I mean facebook? Neverrmind, I do not want to know. Lol I have survived 57 years on this planet without social media, I am sure I can chug through the next 30 years (or so God willing) without that blight in my life.
