Installed a new AJE K-member, D&D A-arms, & X2C coil over kit. I'm putting in a Flaming River manual rack now & I will set up the coil overs to aboout a 1.5" drop from stock. Which poly steering rack bushings should I go with? Standard or offset?
I had the offset for years with 2.5" drop springs. I recently installed the flaming river manual rack and happened to read on the maximum motorsports page that they recommend the offset for aftermarket k members and the center drilled for stock K members. Since I have a stock K member I went back with he center drilled and also used the solid aluminum instead of the polyurethane. My stang steers much better now but I can't tell if its from the bushing or the new rack.
