I have had a few types of tires on my cars and recently I've had the Falken Zeix 512, they are a discontinued tire, replaced by the Zeix 502. I just bought 2 of those to try out on the front. If they are anything like the 512's I will be very happy.

I've also had the Riken Raptors on the stock size Cobra rims and didnt like them too much.

I also drove around with Continental ContiSports(?) 5000 for about a month, and didn't think they were too bad. Although I drive my car in stop and go traffic every day in NYC...

I too daily drive my car and keep my pressures @ 35psi all around.

Just for reference my current set up is:
F: 275 40 17 Falken Zeix ZE512
R: 315 35 17 BFG Traction KD's

for the guy who posted 40 42 lbs if they are the new ones that have a max of 51 psi you will be fine if they are the older Z rated there max was 44 psi so if your living in a hot place where the temp is in the 80 or 90's its little high as they will heat up & the pressure can bring then way pass the safe pressure of 44 max ........ when I ran the older tires 44 max tires they were Z rated I would run them at 33 or 35 if it was steady 90 outside I would never pass 33 ...... also if your up north mustangs are not good at all in the snow & high pressure would make them worse.... it dont snow down here so thats why I made the post I should have made it clear ..... I dont drag race but they drive fast down here & the interstate is like the Indy 500 going 75 mph your just about keeping up ! my mustang hugs the road with 44 it handles great the MPG is good & I dont see anywhere on them yet I also rotate the twice a year .... & to the guy with the comment about working in a tire shop that was a little personal ......thats when guys get there computer balls up being there not where you can be eye to eye .......

So I bought some Riken Raptors got a good deal on 4 all around
While looking online I was comparing looks as well as performance etc.. and the riken raptors looked like a slick tire compared to so many others, now that they are on my car they look like off roaders!
They are the same size as my old tires but they look soooooooooo much bigger, i guess it could just be the tread on my old tires was extremely worn down.
I haven't decided if I like the look alone yet I need to clean my car and shine up the wheels and see them looking sharp.
Performance wise they feel fine

Michelin Pilot sport A/S plus. Those tires are great! I have them on my Mustang and my wifes Audi. They are a bit pricey but are awesome tires. I got mine at Costco, they usually have them on sale. I would highly recommend them.

for a cheap tire you could get some sumitomos, but they have horribleeeeeee traction, i cant get better than a 2.2 60' on them and theyre 315s too, as for tire pressure my gas door says 30 front and rear

Never knew tire pressure settings depended on what year car you had?
I thought each tire manufact had recommend psi on ther tires?
I like shrug too
But i have stuck with NITTO'S 555's? two complete sets never prob? wear good last a good while depending how heavy your foot is. If you catch my drift. Little more money depending on size your goin with??

The tire pressure listed on the car door plaque takes into account the car's weight. The pressure listed on the tire sidewall is maximum tire pressure, period. A heavier car would need more pressure, a lighter car less.

What I've done is start at the car's recommended pressure and drive it around. Then add pressure until it started to feel loose. Back off to a point where you like the handling. But this might leave you with a harsh riding tire that gets loose easier in cooler or wet weather and faster wear in the middle of the tread. The recommended pressure for the car gives you a good pressure for wear *and* handling behavior.
