The time has come to order my c-4 and begin the swap. I plan to swap in a TCI street fighter from jegs. I also know I want to use a stall converter. My car is basically stock right now and lots of weight reduction done to it. I would like to know the best rpm stall to use for weekend street and track use . Also , do i need to do anything special to get the c-4 in? If someone has the time i would really appreciate a complete list of parts i will need to order . Thanks a lot.

P.S these are the transmission details. I need to know what bellhousing to get , flex plate , ect.

You dont need much for the swap. Get a crossmember (you can use the stock one if you grind off the welds, just remember to get it welded after you install the trans), you will need a dipstick if it isnt already included, case fill or pan fill, whichever yours is. You should get a small bellhousing (157t), flexplate, i have one made by TCI, just make sure you get the right balance for your application. Also a shifter, reverse or forward, whichever your valve body is. On the trans itself, you should call ACT transmissions, they are running a special this month. I ordered a competition trans, converter, pan, bellhousing for $1675+shipping. The trans is good to 850rwhp and is warranted for 2 years, actautomatics.com

Can i re-use my stock aod flex plate or anything else from the aod? I think i am going to go with the competition series from TCI Competition Transmissions i really like the idea of a trans-brake , any comments on this trans? Also what converter will match it?
