C-4 tranny in a 86?

I need to know if a 86 lx 4 cyl has a c-4. It is an auto. Thanks.

Does it have overdrive or just a 3 speed auto? If its overdrive then definately not a C4. The later ones came with a A4LD that is an overdrive automatic but for some reason Im thinking in 86 it could be a C3. A C4 has a bellhousing that is removable from the transmission case while a C3 is all one peice.

A C4 has a bellhousing that is removable from the transmission case while a C3 is all one peice.

C3 bellhousing is removable, but nothing is interchangeable with a C4. I was researching the C3 just a day or two ago.
