Well im looking into getting one for my car. i like how it has a boss for nos , my question is right now i have stock injectors so i will need the 19 calibrated kit. well i will not be running 19 forever and when i make the change i noticed they offer those calibration tubes are those compatiable with the kits for our cars? if so they i could just buy the one tuned for 30lbs. when i need it.

Dont get C&L It has inaccurate readings and is hard to tune with if you ever try to tune and get a solid A/F beause it varies so much.

+1 i think u can just get the C&L tube and still couple your stock MAF with it. I may be wrong though.

If you just want a CAI then try an Ebay cheapy unit or make your own. Don't spend the high $$$ for a BBK or MAC units. They are not worth it. The C&L unit is not just a CAI. It is also a MAF housing with a CAI using the stock electronics from the stock MAF. Most on here will suggest an aftermarket MAF which include new electronics for your desired fuel injector size.

I have a C&L intake and like it. I have a lightning mass air on it tuned with my stock injectors.

You can buy just the intake tube without the MAF housing. The tube is top notch. Some people don't have any issues with the C&L stuff.

If you're looking at it for your 94, C&L doesn't list anything bigger than a 24# kit for our cars. Just talked to a shop yesterday about getting mine tuned with 30# injectors and my Pro-M 24# meter, and they said no deal. Not fond of the Pro-Ms, and then proceeded to say the 94-95 computers were junk. I kindly said thanks and hung up at that point.

Yep, I see that now. I didn't even bother to look, since I used to have a Vortech housing that worked the same way as the C&L, and never had much luck getting my car to run. It's doing great now with the Pro-M, so I wasn't interested once they said I'd have to change meters before they would tune it. I took the salesman's word for it that they didn't list a 30# kit for our cars. Sorry for the mis-information!
