C&L Intake w/ bamachips tune Installed
Hi everyone, I just installed my C&L Trueflow Intake. Just wanted to post some impressions. Install was incredibly easy and straightforward. My buddies and I installed it in about 20 minutes. As the final bolts were going in I used my SCT tuner to upload one of Doug's tunes. I decided to try the perfomance tune first. Haven't had a chance to try the torque tune yet. All I can say is the difference is noticeable right away. The exhaust is a little deeper and louder at idle and when revving it. When the hood is still open, the intake sucking in air sound is sooooo cool
. We then proceeded to jump in the car and drive around. Even with the extra 450+ pounds of dead weight my friends brought along, the difference was noticeable. Once I dropped them off I went for a drive by myself and was floored by the difference in performance
. Doug's performance tune with this intake is awesome to say the least. Throttle response is even better then the stock SCT canned tune that I had in there. You touch the pedal and power is there instantly. You guys that have it know what I'm talking about. The car just pulls from a standstill all the way to redline and on through each gear. The car is a totally different animal now. No dead spots whatsoever. Doug is a great guy to work with and his service is awesome, highly recommended. For any of you pondering whether to do this mod or not, DO IT! Well worth it. This modding thing is gonna get addictive and expensive, but oh well, nothing like continually adding power to your car
. Not sure what I should do once I put my O/R xpipe on. Any ideas
??? Next spring will be the hood, stripes, and wheels. Just not too sure on the performance mods I should do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW, are these pictures too big for everyone or should I leave them as is??? Let me know for future posts please.

This last pic shows the MAF mounting bracket that attaches to the valve cover to keep the intake firmly in place. It's just to the left of the MAF plug and to the right of the coolant hose.
