i got a use c&l meter (i'm trying it don't laugh) and it is suppose to be for 24lb. injectors. but i can't see a blue color on it or a part number. how do you know what sample tube is in there? it looks like it would be a clear one to me but i don't know i have never seen either one?
The sample tubes that come pre-installed in a C&L are not colored. The only time they are colored is if you buy one sperately to install in one of their meters. If the person bought the meter calibrated for 24's, it would not be blue. If they bought one for 19's and replaced it with the sample tube for 24's, then it would be blue.
I know this doesn't help you, but that's why yours is not colored. I would give it a try and see how it works.
Also, C&L's, and any MAF for that matter work better with the stock airbox setup. Add on's like the "Cold Air" intake kits introduce a bend before the meter and cause dead spots in airflow that can cause the meter to not work properly...not to mention they pull air from the same spot as stock.
thats not true. back when i used a c&l the tube that came in mine was colored for 19#, then when i got a 24# tube that was colored. then when i bought 42# injectors i got a pro-m
