hi guys i want to know how many hp can handle a c4 ford automatique trans and if is a easy swap into a foxbody i want to run 400 hp but the t5 manuelle is not enought strong or a t5 can be modified to take 400hp?
What you primarily using your car for? The T5 can typical handle 400HP if not seriously beaten on or doing 5000RPM drag launches with slicks. Not saying it's a bulletproof transmission, but it's been proven to be a pretty capable trans for a street car at 400HP or below. We can make better recommendations once we know what you plan on using your car for.
