The C4 I bought has a bellhousing from a 75 Mustang II. From what i have been told, it is the 147 tooth version. Number on the housing are (RF-D5-ZP-7976-AA)

I know i need to switch to the different bell for my 65, 351W combo. Should I go with the 157 tooth or 164? Is there a advantage to one or the other as far as performance?

Thanks Guys

BTW, if anyone wants this thing, let me know.

I would go with the 157 tooth wheel. The 164 didn't come out till later in the 80's and was used on the pan filled versions of the C4. Unless I am mistaken.

The 157-tooth setup would be what you want. The 164-tooth would be a snug fit in a 65 and woulld definitely make for a tight fit for headers there. The 164-tooth version was used beginning in the late 60s in trucks, vans and larger Ford cars.
