C4 Converter

Can you put an after market converter from a 67 C4 in a 70's C4? Im not sure what needs to match other then the splines on the input shaft to the converter, and the bolt pattern on the converter to the flexplate. Other than that is there anything else that I needs to match up? Any info would be helpful.
