C4 in a fox body

who has a C4 swapped into their foxbody?
im thinking of doing this to my capri soon and had some Q's
it seems like it would be a pretty straitforward swap, but will i need to modify the crossmember, or maybe lengthen the dirveshaft or anything like that?

I did it to the 88. All I had to do with the crossmember is turn it around upside down. Same D/S has been used in this car from the AOD the car came with, to a T-5 swap, and now the C4. Just match up your flexplate, torque converter, and bell and you're set. One thing if using an aftermarket cable shifter, make sure you have it adjusted dead on, other wise you'll fry a band or two. I know this the hard way..lol

it is pretty much just put it in and go. you have to use the smaller flexplate and bell housing though.
