My1965 coupe c-4 green dot leaks not really from the pan It only leaks when sitting a week or so. runs & shifts OK. Is it a big goat rope to convert to a 4 Speed? I'm not sure what to do. This is the TOONCINATOR!
Check the locknuts on the band adjust screws, too. They have a rubber seal incorporated into the nut that may be cracked. If it is the pan gasket, you can get a real gasket made from silicone from www.realgaskets.com. I got one in the mail today for my C4 that won't stop leaking. Most of the gaskets are worthless unless you goo them up or glue them down with weatherstrip glue.
