I had to work for a while at the dealership yesterday but took my car with me for when I got done everything else.
I did set a personal best record (yes everything is a race to me) 26 minutes after I set the lift to raise the vehicle I had the flywheel unbolted and the trans in the back of my truck and ready to start the swap.
For review I'm switching from the T5 with spec stage 3 clutch disc, stock new pressure plate and new flywheel. For anybody considering using this combo as a daily driver, I made only about 35 passes and already the flywheel is grooved from the harshness of the clutch.
Now I'm going back to the full manual reverse shift pattern with a trans brake that I had with the V8. I'll be using a stock pinto torque converter with a 9.something" bolt circle also known as an F29. I picked a cool cheetah reverse pattern shifter for really cheap from WFC and I may use an aluminum driveshaft this time too when I put it back together.
As stupid as this sounds I drove 2.5 hours each way through the night to carlise to meet the entire turboford crew. Seemed to be a long drive for some bellhousing alignment pins, 2 slices of pizza, and a sprite. But I can say I caught about 11 minutes of the turboford party. (pretty much the cleanup stages)

(j/k)

I don't een have it tuned well enough to hit hardly any boost. When I get over 75 KPa on the MAP, it starts cutting out really hard. I have several things to check, but haven't had a chance to check them out yet. Maybe next week when I get back to NC. I can't wait to get it rolling and go whoop some camaros and rice
