c4 tranny advice.

My clutches are just about gone in my c4 transmission. So now comes the question do i rebuild the transmission or buy one of these performance automatic super streeter transmissions for a little more and get a 1 year warranty? Anyone use one of these transmissions or had experiences with them? site is: www.performanceautomatic.com Also there is a seller on ebay selling this same setup for $350 less has anyone had dealings with him?

Having a real nice week. DSL and all the phones in the house got struck by lightning and on the day when im shopping for paint and body places bam the tranny starts acting up. Got to love it. Back to dialup for awhile bluck.

I would buy a performance C4, You can now get a performance C4 at Summit Racing. I just got the new catalog and the are several to choose from at really good prices. when buying a C4 be truthfull about your horsepower, most people thing they have lots of HP and buy a high Hp trany they dont need. Most street engines put out between 300 to 400 hp. and thats alot for the street. Look at what you done to your engine then compare the parts to a crate engine.

How much is it in summit's catalog? I'm looking at $745 shipped elsewhere. I've heard nothing but good things about this transmission over at fordmuscle dot com on there c4 forum. So looks like the way to go.
