Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but since so many of us are swapping or c-4's for t-5's I thought I could get help here.
Since I'm doing the swap, I need to get rid of the C-4. I have a friend that is willing to buy it, but I'm not sure what a fair price is. He a friend, but I don't want to give it away a ridiculously low price. It only has about 2,000 miles since it was rebuilt with a 2000 stall convertor and a shift kit.

Considering you can by a rebuilt off ebay for about 600 and a built one for 1000. I'd say to a a friend a fair price would be 300.

I sold mine last year for $250. Comletely rebuilt with about 6000 miles (in 10 years!!! I need to drive it more), shift kit, 2800 stall converter. The guy put it in his 66 coupe and didn't seat the converter correctly. Burnt it up in 75 miles

its a bit region-dependent. in SoCal i had trouble giving my C4 away. I've been told elsewhere in the country $400 would have been easy to get for it.

I bought one of mine for $150 (68 floor shift unit, that was in operating condition) I buy others as cores for a friend who does transmissions and we pay $50-100 each for them (this is for units in unknown condition)
