C4 Tranny help needed

Having 2-3 upshift issues with our TCI C4 tranny ... pulled pan for filter and fluid renew and found this --- spring and cup-ended plunger! WTF

No reply from TCI yet. Anyone out there know these trannies well enough to help us. This is in Cam's new ride and he is anxious to get back on the streets.

Note: The coin is for size comparisson, not found in the pan.

Got the scoop!

These items (not the coin) are under the filter and will drop out upon its removal.

Just felt I should share this info so others do not make the same mistake.
