C4 transmission leaking

The C4 is a case fill transmission. The only place that it is leaking that I can tell,is located closest to the dipstick tube. Otherwise there are no leaks. I've tried two different gaskets and still the same result. Do I need more rtv sealant or just replace the pan with a new one?! Thanks

What engine

which is it pan fill or case fill?

if case fill why doing pan?

are pan rails straight?

Engine is 302. Car has been sitting for years in storage so no pictures of the car until it's ready to be driven.

I'll take pictures later this week of where it's leaking,etc. it's a case fill transmission,the pan itself is where it is leaking.
