The cable came undone from the quadrant? If so, you need to rehook it up and tighten the cable more. Adjusting it from under the car, you can use your finger to feel when you have removed the slack (the cable is exposed a little as it leaves the sheath and goes into the clutch fork). Set it so there is zero slack for right now.

Good luck.

I cant remember but I think you have an aftermarket quadrant? If so, slacken the cable (or just slacken it and pop it out of the clutch fork. THat is what I would do) so you can get it put back on the quadrant. This happened to me while I was farting around with mine and since I have a single hook quadrant, I was able to get the cable back on with the quadrant still attached to the clutch pedal. From below the car, you can push the cable up the sheath so you have some extra cable in the car.

Otherwise, pull those two hitch pins (by hand or with needle nose pliers) and slide the quadrant back off. Install the cable on the catch and put the quad back on. PUll the cable tight at the firewall so it does not come back off the quad. Then get under and reattach the cable at the fork. Sounds like a pain but it takes 1-5 minutes.

Then get the cable unslacked as you make your adjustment with the nut at the fork (if you dont, your TOB will probably make noise as it slides around on the retainer anyhow. Mine did atleast). Get zero freeplay and see how it feels.

Good luck.

its above the accelerator and its hidden quite a ways up there, if you know what you're looking for then it shouldn't be a problem

i believe stock ones are plastic and white right?

precisely, use a flashlight and you should see it fairly easily. its on a shaft that runs across the top of the pedals and connects to teh clutch pedal (obviously).

you beat me to the pic posting!!! That pedal assembly quadrant has one broken hook (you can see it in the pic) but it doesn't really look different than that pic.

dude, that motor blows, I can't get it to run right. I'm gonna pull my upper/lower intake off and drill it the right way for act and egr coolant, then hook up ALL of the smog properly and troubleshoot from there.

Sorry to hear that Jeremy. I figured you had that thing up and running by now - I know how little things take a bit to get ironed out though. Best of luck with it.
