Right now I have a MAC CAI (fenderwell) installed on the car. I'm looking to switch it out basically because the one I have is rusted.

Is the K&N FIPK, the MAC, and the BBK the only options I have? It's looking like both the MAC and BBK kits are fenderwell mounted. I'd like to stay away from this if possible, because last time I remember it was a PITA to install.

And is this really all that comes with the K&N FIPK kit?

Thanks...

C&L make a kit the tube also has boses for nitrous as well they go for about $270 that includes mass air (76mm). or make your own from pvc cheaper.

That's all that comes with the kit. It just puts that HUGE cone filter on the MAF.

I had to get one for smog purposes because my MAC CAI would not pass the visual inspection and the K&N has a smog EO#.

Now with this new Roush intake, I can't use either, but I'm keeping the K&N for smog.

If you want a shiny MAC with a messed up filter, let me know.

I got the C & L kit. Pretty nice fr $260 (ebay). It wasn't that hard to install at all. It was a slight PITA because the K&N filter is huge and it barely fits, but it does fit. You don't need to modify anything, just take out the old intake tubing and put in the aluminum tube, maf, and filter w/heat sheild. It's NOT a fenderwell mount, but it does have a platic cover that sheilds most of the filter from the engine bay.
