Cai problem

Here what i would love to know i have a sr cold intake from a 05 4.0 that new i got as a gift anyway i have a 2010 4.0 and it sets the lean code off after i give it any gas at all why is that as there the same engine and computer

On the GTs most CAI require a tune to run properly. Likely to be true with the 4.0 as well. You can purchase a tuner with a tune for the CAI from many vendors mentioned here in the forums.

Thanks i was planning on getting a tune later but i have taking the cai off till then i just find it odd that the cai works fine on a 08 4.0 but sets off codes ĺean on both banks for a 4.p in my 2010 same drive train thats all i think ill sell this cai and order a tuner n cai pkg so i know it will work togather thank you for your time an info
