I recently got a CAI off of ebay. Put the intake on my car no problem except for a slight modification to the hole for the IAT sensor. I had to drill it out to make it a tad bit bigger so the IAT sensor would fit.
Ok, well my problems are as follows:
1. When I start the car, the car shakes just a tad and makes a awkward noise like the car is stalling. But otherwise it starts perfectly fine.
2. Once the car is started, it sounds great and even has the CAI "whistle" what I've heard everyone talk about, and drives better than what it did before. But, with the exception when it will make a weird noise sometimes when I let off the gas usually at higher RPM's. The noise sounds like a very loud humming noise and won't stop untill I hit the gas pedal again. Odd.
3. When I goto shut the car off, it makes an odd noise and shakes the whole car a bit more than what it does when it starts up.
I have had none of these problems before the new install of the CAI and this was my first install of a CAI so I was wondering if I could get some help with suggestions of what to look for.
