the 66 fastback is greg's, its got a turbo or 2 in it if i remember correctly..

bruce's cobra has a Vortech I believe and has dumped Flowmaster 40's..hence that sound..if you've ever been out back, there are a ton of old cars awaiting restoration..and last time i was there they had a complete mach 1 motor sitting there waiting to go into a new car. talk about a happy place

just FYI (and don't spread the word just yet) they are gonna be able to do superchips and ECU reflashes in the very near future

Thats good stuff to know about man, thanks. About that being able to tune, funny you should mention it. KenB at Modular Depot is tuning my SCT flasher that i purchased last friday from him

All part of my plan to go along with the gears and flows.

I went that route instead of the generic Superchips tuner that JBA sells. Do you know if they are gonna be an SCT tuner or EFI or both.

By the way, i read a thread a little while back about that, and there is alot of issues going on with SCT vs. EFI. I was like Holy Moly! Dont wanna get involved in that, thats for sure, I just want my mustang to be faster

from what Bruce was saying, I am under the impression they'll do custom burns with the SCT software, meaning they can do ECU reflashes or chip burns I think. but i figure i'll just get a chip from modular depot when i get my gears in cause it doesn't look like they'll be ready for that kind of custom stuff when i get my gears put in (hopefully soon)

and i saw that thread like you and was suprised at all the crap going back and forth..to be honest it confused the hell out of me when i tried to read it but at least i can ask the JBA guys about it and they usually know the answers.

Yeah it was confusing to me too. So far i have nothing but good things to say about KenB at Modular Depot. I was peppering the guy with questions the whole week leading up to my purchase last friday and he was very cool the whole time, always responded to my e-mails and was very helpful in making my decision. Gotta give him a

I will definitely post about the results from gears, flows, and chip

Im doing the correction for the 3.73's, also going 255/40/ZR17 Nitto Extremes pretty quick here. Im sure that last one is a small change if any at all.

Getting the traction control turned off. We dont need that crapola out here in the good weather anyways. Also, asked him to put the rev limiter at 6200. Not too sure where its at now, it might be at that mark. I asked him to remove any speed limiter, but i dont think we have one on our cars anyways.

I asked him for a tune with 87 Octane and a more aggressive tune with our 91 premium we have out here. As far as exactly what timing advance degree wise, i dont know yet. Prob. gonna be talking to him about it sometime this week. The advancement of the fuel curves and timing, etc. is where my knowledge ends. I am pretty excited about it though. As i learn more ill let you know man

yea please keep me updated on what you're doing..i was going to have them just reflash my computer for gears and maybe bump the timing up a bit..and perhaps redo the A/F ratio or something as well. i am not really sure at this point..i guess when i get serious (and more cash) i will look into it a bit more..maybe by then JBA will be able to help.
