I am anti oil change places. no way I would let them touch my car.

If you saw how incompetent these guys are you would do your own oil changes

My GT takes 6 quarts.

My sister lost an engine to an oil change place that FORGOT to put in oil. Then, even though i told her to never go back to a quick change place she did and then used an IMPACT GUN to put the drain plug on. Pan had to be changed out the next oil change due to the threads stripping.

LOL....why in the world anyone would even think to use an impact gun on the drain plug is beyond me. Those things dont need to be that tight in the first place. Thats why I never use those quick change places, they always overtighten the plug and stirp the threads.

As my dad says...they don't work for NASA on the weekdays.

A friend of mine was pulling out of an oil place when they started to flag her down...they forgot to put any oil in. You have a simple job, three steps...

I change my own oil.. my only problem is disposal. I never seem to have time to bring the old oil in for recycling and when it is time for the change i gotta go run and empty the damn thing lol.

Yeah same here. Hardest part is cleaning up the oil catch pan well enough to put it in my car for the drive back to AZ to dump it in their tank. Sometimes i put it off and then just buy another oil pan for $5 and use that. I think i have 6 or 7 oil pans kicking around now.

Thats why I dont take my car anywhere for nothing. (I know the english isnt proper) My car has only been to Ford for 1 thing...getting a key to my wheel locks ( they had to get new ones and used a master to get my old ones off....car didnt come with the key lol). Only go to quick lube places to get an inspection...and went to a GM goodwrench shop for my alignment. Thats it, and besides Ford my car never really leaves my sight.
