Ok, everyone seems to think that I have a stock motor, which I am not denying. So I would like to know some stuff about what stuff works well together. Im on a sharp budget so the heads that I want are the thumper heads (at $500 they seem like a steal) Is there a cam that works really well with these heads? I dont need it to pull past 6000rpm, but I would like some nice idle lope. Shootin for maybe 275whp with those mods alone? Is that possible? Also, whats a good intake that works well with those heads? I was thinking about an edelbrock performer rpm or a GT40 peice.

I, too, have a basically stock motor. Nothing to be ashamed of. Everybody's gotta start somewhere. Mine did come with a B cam in it, though. I got a set of Thumpers with the .600 spring upgrade and added a set of Crane 1.7 roller rockers. The car sounds great, idles like a Harley, and pulls like a train. I haven't been to the track yet ( too damn HOT! ) but I'm expecting mid-12s. The car also has an Explorer intake. They are supposed to flow better than the stock Mustang. Plus, I added a 65 mm throttle body and a 73 mm MAF and 3.73 gears. It's definitely a budget build and I'm using mostly used parts. I am seriously thinking of springing for a new BBK SSI intake 'cause I have a vacuum leak at the corner of the intake that I didn't get re-sealed well enough. ( And I like the way they look. You get different opinions on how well the SSI works so I'm just gonna make up my own mind.)
