I need help figurin this thing out, I've gotta 93 lx with a 5.0 n it. I went from a stock roller cam to a f303 roller cam. I've got it running but u can hear a sound from the per end that sounds like it out a oil but I've got 40psi oil pressure. The rockers are torked to 20 pounds and u can't really hear the ruff idle it should have. Does any one have any suggesting on what the issue might be??

I would say valve adjustment. Did you check and adjust preload?

Is that a question, or a statement? FWIW, you can reuse hydraulic roller lifters. The wear pattern doesn't destroy cam lobes like if you wanted to reuse lifters on a flat tappet cam.

Did you check to see if the pushrods were tight after you torqued the arms down? It very oftens happens that a longer pushrod is needed with letter cams.

like maryland was saying alot of those cams needed a 6.312 pushrod ford had listed and sold. however when u purchase them now they are the 6.250 stock length. they just dont get the preload they need and result in a noisy valvetrain. illl leave that other comment alone, WOW
