Hey guys. I'm debating over whether I want to get new pistons so I can install a cam along with my heads and intake. I'm thinking about getting a rebuild kit from Summit. If I get the one that comes with new pistons then I'll put my F303 cam in with my heads and intake, but if I get the one without new pistons then I won't put the cam in. I really would hate to put the heads, intake, new TB, new exhaust and not have a cam to help all of it work together. So, I just want to know if I'll have idle issues. I don't have the money to get a chip right now. Thats the main thing.

with a stock 94 computer you're almost guaranteed to have some sort of issue. the 94-95 computers sometimes have a hard time dealing with major airflow mods. before i did the a9l swap, the only thing i really had to do was to change the settings on the idle air screw and the idle set screw on the throttle body (BBK). idled like a champ after that.
