How much should it cost to install cams im thinking about it and price is a definite issue I will be boosting my car soon with a KB 9psi and heard new cams would compliment it well, also what cams would work best for the KB i just want to sound like i know what im talking about when I inquire about them I have never delt with a cam swap before any help is much appriciated.

I'm sure a set of blower cams or a custom grind would definitely increase the power level, maybe even beyond what the stock bottom end can handle. You might want to think about saving for a shortblock and doing the cams at the same time. It's a crapshoot, really.

Cam install should run you about $600 - $750 (8-10 hours @ $75/Hour). Depends on hourly shop rate. That's swapping the springs, too. You'll need springs with the higher exhaust lift on blower cams especially.
