CAM help!

I purchased a cam that was suppose to be a e303 but the only numbers on it is 2k6 ...... I'm trying to figure out what cam it is ... and also im pretty sure that if its an e303 it would have it on it but not positive...and help would be appreciated

I don't know what markings are on the 'E' cam, but the 2k6 would appear to be a manufacture date code.

If you had a pair of calipers you could mic the lobes and arrive at conclusive specs to ensure the cam is an 'E'.

Where, how, did you get the cam that makes you curious as to it's true designation

I actually bought it from ebay off of a guy who said he got it out of a 90 mustang with cobra motor he said it was suppose to be a ford racing e303 cam and a buddy of mine said it should have it stamped on it..

you're right, it should say e303 on one end of the cam. my b cam does.
