cam ideas??

Looking to get a few opinions on what cam to go with. I have the speed density 5.0L motor so my options are kinda limited. I could always convert to mass air, but that would mean more money and parts! What would be the best to go with?? Anyone with some insight on this would be greatly appreciated! thanks.

Your going to have to provide more info than that. What is the rest of the combo, what are your goals, etc. Also, its not that expensive to switch to mass air and that can help with cam choices.

well here is the thing, i have a motor in the car right now, it has 74,000 actual miles on it. the thing is leaking oil, burning oil and i just dont wanna pull it and sit on it till the motor gets done. so, i got a block from my buddy and i am bringing it to the machine shop in town in a little while. Im going .030 over on the block, then he's going to check the crank, either polish it or go .010 under on it if needed. so i am going to get a set of AFR 165cc heads, prob BBK intake and all the other common goodies for it. Im just curious on this cam deal?? What would be the best way to go about this??

The only thng you should watch as far as SD goes is the LSA. Stay with at least 114. Crower 15511 (I think) is popular as well as the Comp XE 270 should be fine. Just watch the LSA....
