-Its finally getting warmer here so im going to do the h/c/i swap. The car is a 1990 gt. Im using gt40p heads with 1.94 valves, e-cam, and cobra intake. I plan on buying new rockers but i dont know which ones to get. I was looking at the crane energizer 1.7 rockers but im not sure if they will have clearance issues or not. Does anyone else have this setup? Can i reuse the stock rockers?

what pistons you got? i'm assuming they're stock, so as long as you dont have some pop up pistons you should be good to go with 1.7's. its always a good idea to check with some plastigauge though. they'll raise the lift on that e-cam from .498 to .529

what do you mean by not fit? unless you had your heads drilled for another size pedestal or converted them to stud mount, gt40p's are 5/16 pedestal mount heads so just make sure you get some that fit that. and if you do run into some PTV clearance issues with the 1.7's, i'm sure whoever you're ordering them from has some sort of return/exchange policy.

haha don't let this scare you man. TONS of people run that exact setup you're wanting to run with no problems. i actually had that exact setup (gt40p's, crane/ford 1.7 roller rockers, Ecam) with an edelbrock performer RPM intake on an old coupe with no clearance issues as well. its a good setup that works well together. i'd go for it
