cam shaft gears

hi, i'm just about ready to tear apart the top end and do my pi swap. my question is can i reuse my 98 cam gears on my 02 heads w/ comp-cams cams???
i just would like to make sure that i have all that i need w/out running to the shop to buy or order any parts. once i start i will not want to stop until i'm done.
1)pi heads redone w/springs and cams.
2)ford head changing kit.
3) pi intake.
what gasket sealer should i use?
any tips?

98 and 02 engines are both Romeo's, should use the same gears. Just the bolt sizes are different i believe, doesn't matter tho - you use the supplied one that usually come with the cams.

Here's an old list of stuff I needed when I did my headswap many years ago:
'01 PI heads (fully ported and assembled)
'02 Intake Manifold (with aluminum coolant crossover)
Head Gaskets
Intake Manifold Gaskets
Exhaust Gaskets
TTY Head Bolts
Heater Transfer Tube
Oil Dipstick Tube

Also, the coolant crossover should be drilled and tapped for the temperature sensor.
