ive been looking up on cams to get for my car and it occurred to me...what does everything in the specs for a cam mean?!?? i went to summitracing.com and i found this... http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=eadvsearch.asp&SearchType=Make its well within my driving range...my car never sees over 5k rpms(i dont race) or would this be a better alternative? http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=eadvsearch.asp&SearchType=Make the range is just slightly shifted up...again i dont race and i dont see a blower going on my car in the near future...i know most ppl on here say VT all the way...but i want to be different :nice:

What year is your car?

The Comps would be a good choice if its a '96-'98. However, if you have a '99-up, you want the Comp Cams 100500 (XE262AH) cams.

Probably nothing wrong with the Cranes, but their Modular cams are new (well, not counting their s****y regrinds) and not many people have them yet. So there isn't much data on them right now.

Here is a question for you Nick, since you are here and save me from starting a new post and it may help him with his decision:

Is there a Comp Cam that offers better gains than the VT Stage I cams that don't require a spring change?
In another words, is there something else between Stage I and Stage II VT's?
