Ok, shoot me for asking but I can’t find this info on the web. I need an answer to this, which in stock form handles better and is cheaper to do a suspension upgrade a first generation Camaro or a 64-68 ‘Stang?

Fire at will!

stock for stock?

Depends on what year mustang, what year maro, what engine, what trans, what suspension setup they have from the factory.

Dollar for Dollar, upgrading the suspension is going to cost just about the same.

lol they're both so bad compared to new cars it will hardly matter. and both have huge aftermarkets so it costs to upgrade will be similar.

In stock form I'd probably ( don't shoot me for this one guys ) say the camaro - but just barely. However You can probably take a Mustang further than a Camaro. Now I say this having driven both of them on the street before. I also will say I'd rather have a Mustang any day of the week.

Newer cars really don't handle THAT much better than an old mustang. Put some new technology on an old stang a la rest-o-mod style and the differences are pretty well muted.
