Camber Maxed Out ...

I'm tired of searching for this because I can't find anything relative to my situation.

- 2004 Mustang gt -

I've got Eibach pro kit springs, QA1 tubular K-Member, MM Camber plates and a Steeda Bumpsteer kit installed and the tech at GoodYear says he cannot move the camber plates any further out (see enclosed pic).

I took the car home and looked at it myself and he's right. I'm out of the adjustment range. I removed the driverside plate and realized that the bumpstop was in the way so I corrected it and that's the reason the driverside had -2.8 deg.
Now both driverside and passenger side are completely maxed out at -1.8 deg. Both plates are installed correctly in "positive orientation". Has anyone else run into this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

I'm thinking I might have to remove the CC plates, widen the four mounting holes in the strut tower enough to allow the base plate to slide towards the fender for more positive camber. The only problem then is the fender will more than likely obstruct the Camber adjustment plate.

Anyone else have a better ideal?

No I've never hit anything.

I just read a post on mustangforums where a few guys had the same problem with their aftermarket CC plates and used CAM Bolts to correct the problem.

I found a set of Eibach cam bolts on stangsuspension.com for $30 that give you about +/- 1.75 degrees of camber adjustment. The other CAM bolt brands only give about 1 degree.

So I'll try them and see if it fixes the problem and let you know how it goes.
