Cams?

Hey im about to order my exhaust soon and i want to get cames to. im think like a 226 but i dont know how much duration or if if the 226 is to much. anyone that can help me let me know.

Looks like you might be intrested in some VT Stage 1 cams, might want to check them out. The main two companies for cams are VT and Comp so I would just go check out there websites and see what looks good.

Be careful with the Comp 270's! Lots of guys have piston to valve issues! I had to have my aftermarket pistons fly cut to clear mine! If you're stock then you should be ok. The VT's seem to have no issues at all.

yea im all stock beside intake and u/d pulleys but that is stil stock to me . i jsut dont know how much lift to get.

What future mods do you want to do to your car?If there's a blower in the future then wait untill you can get blower cams and the blower all at the same time.If you want to port and polish the heads you probably should wait untill this is done also.In other words,unless you want to keep buying different cams,wait untill everything else is done and buy a set of cams that compliment the mods you have done.If you have done everything you are going to do,call the cam company and ask them what they suggest.They can tell you about any piston clearance problems.

yes a future blower but not for a while i just wanna do full exhaust new heads cams sme suspension plenum throttle body chip and mass air. then down the road re build the motor completly and blow it.
