What exactly do i need to do...modify or change on my motor so i could safely have cams stage 2's and run good?

Definitely upgrade the valve springs, porting and polishing would help greatly. Bottom end will be fine as long as it's getting sufficient fuel. Cams won't be so much of a gain that you'd have to worry about any other internal work.
