Camshaft break in prior to setting timing on rebuilt 289?

Hey KS65stang,
Reading through your thread, I think you are basically in good shape. I'll offer, connect an engine vac gauge and get a reading. It'll indicate your baseline, not to mention setting your curb idle quality. Those hot headers can be a lean condition. Did you calculate your CR? What I did to keep my wires from touching headers, was to custon cut each one, so there was no sagging anywhere. Nice work and good luck with your tweaking.....
