So this winter I want to do a cheap PI Camshaft install, as per this guide:

Cam Swap On SOHC 4.6 1998 GT

The problem is, I can't seem to find any PI camshafts anywhere! So here is my two part question:

1) I plan to go supercharged in the next couple of years or so. Instead of the PI cams, could I use the crower stage I cams instead for a supercharged application, or should I wait and find some PI cams? I will be running N/A for awhile, so I can't be losing power by running the wrong cams. Has anybody done this? RPM Outlet.com - 1996 to 2004 FORD MUSTANG GT CROWER Hi-lift Camshafts/Springs for your 1996-2004 V-8 Mustang

2) If I do get the crower cams, can I install them like the stock PI cams in the guide, or will I have to re-time them?

Thanks in advance!

I did, none on there right now. Would the Crower Stage I's be a worse choice than the PI cams?

PS Your car is awesome, you've got basically the exact same look I want minus the spoiler, I think I'm going spoilerless. SN-95's + Cobra R Hood + Cobra Bumper =

So I'm staying N/A for now but eventually want to go supercharged, would they work in a supercharged application or would I be better off going with PI cams?

Sure, a vid would be awesome. Where did you hear that they were good with boost?

My buddy who was also my builder has been in the mod world for a longg time and knows his stuff. He hooked me up with these because I plan on doing a single turbo set up when I re-build my bottom end. It is a very mild cam. vid will be up shortly

My VT stage I cams:
YouTube - VT(CMS) stage 1 n/a mustang cams Idle

YouTube - Mustang GT VT stage 1 cams, PI swapped

I'd post up a vid of my actual car at idle, but it's full of clacking coming from the engine as well
