Ok, hope I made the right choice. Called comp cam and got a recommendation. Decided to go with comp cam xtreme energy XE274H, advertised duration 274-286 - lift .520-.523. This with roller tip rocker, machened heads with 192/160 chevy valves, keith black 40 over pistons, edlbrock perfromer rpm intake and carb and 4 spd 411 gears in a 289 motor. What do you think of the camshaft, will it work with this combo??? alot more cam then I had before, just a little worried about how it will drive???? any thoughts on horsepower?? any help would be appreciated.
